Purple Line Extension First/Last Mile Plan — Section 1

Metro will develop first/last mile plans for three station-areas along the future Purple Line Extension: Wilshire/La Brea, Wilshire/Fairfax and Wilshire/La Cienega. These activities to improve pedestrian and "rolling" access to the Section 1 stations will be similar to first/last mile planning for Sections 2 and 3 . Planning will include consultations with the City of Los Angeles and Beverly Hills, local residents and other future transit riders.

West Santa Ana Branch First/Last Mile Plan

Metro will develop station-area first/last mile plans for the 20-mile West Santa Ana Branch transit corridor. The West Santa Ana Branch Transit Corridor will connect downtown Los Angeles with southeastern LA County, including the cities of Paramount, Bellflower, Cerritos, and Artesia. Metro Orange Line Improvements First/Last Mile Plan

As part of new gating and grade separation improvements to the Orange Line, Metro will develop two new plans for first/last mile improvements at the reconstructed Sepulveda and Van Nuys stations. The project will address the Sepulveda Station area, as Van Nuys will be covered as part of the East San Fernando Valley Transit Corridor First/Last Mile Plan . Following technical walk audits in November 2019, Metro will conduct community outreach in Spring 2020.

Green Line Extension to Torrance First/Last Mile Plan

As Metro extends the western terminus of the Green Line from Redondo Beach to Torrance, it will develop first/last mile plans to improve safe, comfortable walking and rolling access to the three new stations in the South Bay. The stations will also serve new transit connections in the Redondo Beach and Torrance Transit Centers.
