East San Fernando Valley Transit Corridor First/Last Mile Plan

The East San Fernando Valley First/Last Mile Plan will identify and develop biking and walking improvements connecting to the 14 stations of the planned Metro Rail corridor. The light rail line will connect the Orange Line Van Nuys station in Los Angeles to the city of San Fernando to the north. Metro will work closely with the cities of Los Angeles and San Fernando to make access to the stations safer and more convenient.

The East San Fernando Valley Transit Corridor project will be the first to have first/last mile planning integrated into the overall capital project. For more information on the transit corridor project, please visit: https://www.metro.net/projects/east-sfv/

Volunteers representing community groups walked the streets with Metro staff and other project team members in February 2019. The information captured during the walk audits will be used to inform the First/Last Mile Plan underway.

Stay tuned to this page for ways to help shape the plan.
