Business Promotion Opportunity

Eat, Shop, Play is a marketing and community engagement campaign intended to bring focused attention to businesses impacted by construction of the Crenshaw/Lax, Purple Line Extension and the Regional Connector Transit Projects. The goal of the campaign is to make it easy for consumers to eat at local restaurants, shop at local stores and play at local destinations within the project areas.

Through the use of online tools, traditional media and promotional materials, Eat, Shop, Play makes a significant commitment to supporting businesses, during and after construction.

The public will be asked to pledge to Eat, Shop, and Play in local communities impacted by the construction. Their participation is incentivized at no cost to you. You participate, we provide customer loyalty incentives. It really is that easy and best of all, it’s FREE!

Customers who pledge to spend dollars locally will receive information from participating businesses and Metro via email notifications, social media alerts, newspaper advertisements and more. Cash prizes from $250 to $1,000 are awarded via free Quarterly Drawings to customers who submit proofs of purchases for a minimum of $25 from participating Eat, Shop, Play businesses.

Participation for businesses is free. The business must be located on the project alignment.
