The transit pavilion provides innovative shade structures equipped with solar panels to power the site, as well as a Metro Bike Share station.
Site 1: Transit Pavilion and Bicycle Amenities
A transit pavillion and bicycle amenities are on the southeast corner of Cesar E. Chavez Ave/Vignes St. with new transit shelters for transit riders, real time and static transit information, lighting, bicycle amenities, enhanced drought tolerant landscaping and rainwater catchment. The transit pavilion houses innovative sustainability features that create a self-sufficient and energy generating site. The shelter structures are fitted with photo voltaic solar panels that power the site and provide additional energy back to the gateway campus.

Sites 2, 3 & 4: New Bus Shelters
Bus shelters, trash cans and benches will be replaced in coordination with the City of Los Angeles Bureau of Street Services.
