Metro Blue Line Del Amo Station Closed

The Del Amo station is next in the continuing improvements to all stations of the Metro Blue Line, and will be closed over consecutive weekends. It will be getting new tile, new audio/visual enhancements, fresh paint and a new canopy.

All Blue Line stations will remain open during weekdays with no service disruptions.

The Del Amo Station will be closed Friday at 9pm and resume service on Monday at 5am on the following weekends:

Friday 2/20 – Sunday 2/22
Note: Sunday 2/22 Trains will share a single track south of Imperial Hwy and run every 20 minutes.

Friday 2/27 – Monday 3/2
Note: Due to the threat of heavy rain and high winds, for this weekend only, the Blue Line Del Amo Station Closure is canceled. Train service will be available on a modified schedule.

Friday 3/6 – Monday 3/9

A free Metro bus shuttle will be available to take riders between Artesia and Wardlow Station during the weekend closures only. Trains will continue to run south from Wardlow to the Long Beach Transit Gallery and will continue to run north from Artesia to downtown Los Angeles.
