Go Metro to the Finish Festival and Save on the 2020 Race
The Skechers Performance Los Angeles Marathon takes place on March 24, 2019. 25,000 runners will run the famed Stadium to the Sea course, beginning in Dodger Stadium and finishing in Santa Monica. If you haven't signed up yet, registrations are still available.
Show your TAP card, Metro employee or LA County employee ID the Finish Festival (at 2nd Street and Santa Monica Boulevard) on the day of the marathon and save $5 on next year’s 2020 Skechers Performance Los Angeles Marathon registration. Special codes will be sent to each person who redeems the offer after the race.
RUNNERS: The Skechers Performance Los Angeles Marathon starts at Dodger Stadium and finishes in Santa Monica. The Runners Expo on March 22nd and 23rd will be located at the Los Angeles Convention Center in Downtown Los Angeles. To get to the expo, take Metro Blue or Expo Line to the Pico Station, about a block away from the Los Angeles Convention Center.

17th St/SMC Station Bus Hub
Metro Local Lines 4/704, 20/720, 33/733, 534 will be re-routed here during the temporary street closures of marathon. Patrons with a TAP card may transfer at no additional charge to the westbound Expo Line.
Big Blue Bus Routes 1, 2, 3, 7, 8, 9, 18, 41 will also offer service here. All BBB service that operates in Santa Monica on Sunday will arrive/depart from this bus hub. Marathon runners with a race bib can ride Big Blue Bus for free on race day.
While there is limited parking at the Metro lot on 17th St/SMC Station, you can also park at Expo/Bundy and Expo/Sepulveda Station and hop on the Expo Line. Metro Bus Detours
On Sunday, March 24th, there will be interruptions in Metro bus service along the marathon route. Lines normally passing through those areas will be rerouted and many other lines will be disrupted. Customers are urged to plan ahead and allow for extra time during the race.
Numerous Metro bus lines will be impacted before and after the running of the LA Marathon. Those lines include: 2, 4, 10, 14, 16, 20, 28, 30, 33, 40, 45, 48, 55, 60, 68, 70, 71, 76, 78/79, 81, 83, 90/91, 92, 94, 96, 105, 156/656, 180/181, 200, 201, 204, 206, 207, 210, 212, 217, 218, 222, 487, 534, 603, 704, 720, 733, 745, 754, Silver Line (910).
