Wednesday September 02, 2009

Metro's Fall 2009 Metro Motion news and features television show has been launched on Metro Interactive, the video page, as well as on cable stations throughout Los Angeles County.

In this half-hour show viewers are introduced to options for high-speed rail in Southern California (imagine downtown L.A.'s Union Station as an airport without airplanes); learn about Metro as a jobs factory (Metro projects already employ thousands and federal stimulus funds and Measure R monies will add countless more jobs) and visit L.A.'s world-class museums (via Metro, of course). Viewers are also granted an opportunity to listen in as Metro director and L.A. County Supervisor Mark Ridley-Thomas explains why developing the north/south Crenshaw Transit Corridor is essential to our mobility.

Metro Motion runs quarterly on cable stations throughout Los Angeles County and is posted on To find it, go to and click on the Metro on TV icon at the top of the page.
