Getting to UCLA football home games this season just got easier, thanks to free shuttle bus service provided by UCLA.
College football fans can avoid traffic and parking hassles by taking the Metro Gold Line to Memorial Park station in Pasadena, then walk westbound a couple of blocks down Holly Street to the Parsons parking lot located at 100 West Walnut Street near Pasadena Avenue. Shuttles will then take them directly to the Rose Bowl entrance gates.
Shuttles will run continuously starting four hours prior to each game and will return until the last person leaves the stadium at the end of the game.
The home game schedule for shuttle service is as follows:
9/4 -UCLA vs. Oklahoma State
10/2 - UCLA vs. San Diego State
10/9 - UCLA vs. Arizona
10/30 - UCLA vs. Stanford
11/16 - UCLA vs. Washington State
12/4 - UCLA vs. USC
To avoid long lines after the game, fans are encouraged to purchase their Metro Day Pass from station ticket vending machines beforehand. No food, drinks, smoking or flammable equipment are permitted on Metro Rail or Metro Bus.
Metro riders can receive a free UCLA Football Collector's pin when they present their valid Metro fare for the day of the game. Fans should present their fare at the Advance Sales Booth inside Gate A at the Rose Bowl. Pins are not available for the Dec. 4, 2004 game against USC.
Ticket prices range from $4 to $62. For ticket information, game times and other questions, visit WWW.UCLABRUINS.COM or call 310-UCLA-WIN. For information on Metro Bus and Rail, call 1-800-C-O-M-M-U-T-E.
