Go Metro to The Hollywood Bowl and Enjoy

ARCHIVE MODE

Tuesday June 07, 2011

Oh, the atmosphere at the Hollywood Bowl. Warm summer nights, the wind in your hair, singing along to your favorite band, but oh my, that stacked parking! If you're planning on going to the Hollywood Bowl this summer Metro is teaming up with the Hollywood Bowl to provide you with a fast and easy method to get to the show without any parking hassles or worries.

Beginning June 17, take the Metro Red Line or a Metro bus to one of three shuttle parking lots and ride free to the Bowl. All you need to do is show your valid Metro pass or Metro Rail ticket.

Shuttles that are free to Metro riders leave from Orchid Circle at Hollywood and Highland Center (Hollywood/Highland Station). Other locations include the Ventura Lot at 10801 Ventura Blvd. near Lankershim and from Ventura Annex Lot at the corner of Ventura and Lankershim (both Universal Station). Departures are every 10 to 15 minutes and shuttle service begins about 2 1/2 hours before curtain time.

So head to the Hollywood Bowl with Metro this summer and enjoy.
