L.A. Metro Partners with L.A. County Department of Public Health to Launch New COVID-19 Vaccination Site at El Monte Station June 1, Offers Free Metro Micro Rides to Site Within El Monte Service Zone

The Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro) has partnered with the L.A. County Department of Public Health to open a public vaccination site at its El Monte Station on June 1, making it the fourth such site opened on the Metro public transit system.

L.A. Metro Joins FTA, VA, UCLA and Local, Federal Officials to Mark the Start of Major Construction on the Third and Final Section of the Purple (D Line) Extension to Westwood/VA Hospital in Westwood

The Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro) today held a ceremonial groundbreaking with the Federal Transit Administration (FTA), U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs, UCLA and key local and federal officials to mark the start of major construction on the third and final section of the Purple (D Line) Extension Project that will connect downtown L.A. and the Westside via a high-speed, high capacity subway in 2027.

L.A. Metro Partners with L.A. County Department of Public Health, Total Testing Solutions and Supervisor Holly Mitchell to Launch new COVID-19 Vaccination Sites at Three L.A. Area Metro Stations

The Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro) has partnered with the L.A. County Department of Public Health and Metro Director and L.A. County Supervisor Holly Mitchell to open three new public vaccination sites at Metro transit stations located in areas hard hit by COVID-19. They are the first vaccination sites to be installed on the Metro public transit system.

Metro, LADOT Relaunch Westside Bike Share System with Key Improvements for Bike Month and Beyond
