LA Metro Releases Draft EIR and Begins Public Comment Period for North Hollywood to Pasadena Bus Rapid Transit Corridor Project

The Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro) has released the Draft Environmental Impact Report (EIR) and has commenced its public review and comment period for the North Hollywood to Pasadena Bus Rapid Transit Corridor Project. Metro will hold virtual public hearings to provide information and gather feedback from the community on the project. The public comment period runs through Dec. 10, 2020.

Metro Board of Directors Approves Comprehensive NextGen Bus Plan for Implementation of a Redesigned and Reimagined Metro Bus Network

The Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro) Board of Directors today approved the NextGen Bus Plan, an ambitious effort to redesign and reimagine the agency’s entire bus system to meet the needs of today’s riders. Approved changes will begin in December 2020 and be phased in over the next year with a focus on fast, frequent reliable service on key corridors.

Building the Last Phase of the Regional Connector Transit Project Requires A 22-Month Closure of Little Tokyo/Arts District Station Effective Saturday, Oct. 24 through Fall 2022

The Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro) Regional Connector Transit Project has now reached an important construction phase: connecting the L Line (Gold) tracks in Little Tokyo/Arts District to the new 1.9-mile twin rail tunnels under downtown Los Angeles that will ultimately tie together the A (Blue), E (Expo) and L Lines.
