C Line (Green) to suspend weekend service between Hawthorne/Lennox and Redondo Beach Stations on May 1, 15 and June 19, 2020

The Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro) will suspend rail service on the C Line (Green) between Hawthorne/Lennox and Redondo Beach Stations for three weekends beginning May 1, May 15 and June 19, 2020 to connect with the future Crenshaw/LAX Line.

L.A. Metro to Partially Close Some Subway Station Entrances To Reduce Public Touchpoints during COVID-19 Public Health Crisis

Beginning tomorrow, April 24, the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro) will be closing some entrances to B Line (Red) stations to help reduce public “touchpoints” and to keep the system as clean as possible during the COVID-19 public health crisis.

Metro to begin restoration work on Manchester Avenue on April 21 as part of the Crenshaw/LAX Line construction project

The Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro) contractor for the Crenshaw/LAX Transit Project, Walsh/Shea Corridor Constructors (WSCC), will implement a full street closure on Manchester Avenue between Aviation Boulevard/Florence Avenue and Osage Avenue/Portal Avenue to begin street restoration work for one week beginning April 21.

LA Metro to hold virtual meetings for committee, Board of Directors meetings in April

The Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro) will host its April Board of Directors meetings virtually, allowing the public to attend via internet video stream or by phone and to submit written public comments during the meeting in order to comply with public health directives concerning COVID-19.
