Metro increases construction activities at Park Mesa Heights for the Crenshaw/LAX Transit Project

As part of the Crenshaw/LAX Transit Project, Metro contractor Walsh/Shea Corridor Constructors (WSCC) continues working in the Mesa Park Heights area to install a storm drain and prepare for decking at the intersection of Hyde Park Boulevard and Crenshaw Boulevard.

Harriet Begins Excavating Northbound Tunnel for Crenshaw/LAX Transit Project

The Crenshaw/LAX Transit Project reached 53 percent completion, according to Project Director Charles Beauvoir. The projected opening date for the $2.058 billion and 8.5-mile with eight new stations has been set for revenue service for October 2019.

Nighttime Civil Work Continues at Park Mesa Heights for Crenshaw/LAX Transit Project

 As part of the ongoing construction on the Crenshaw/LAX Transit Project, Metro’s contractor Walsh/Shea Corridor Constructors (WSCC) has closed the northbound frontage road on Crenshaw Boulevard between 48th and 50th streets to vehicle traffic and on-street parking from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. on the days listed below. The closure is expected to be completed by Monday, Dec. 19.

Regional Connector Transit Project Construction Work to Start this Weekend at 2nd and Spring Street in Downtown Los Angeles

A series of full weekend closures on Spring Street between 1st and 3rd streets and on 2nd Street between Broadway and Main streets to perform piling and decking work for the 2nd/Broadway underground station for the Regional Connector Transit Project will begin this weekend, the Los Angeles Metropolitan Transportation Authority announced.

Better Expo Line Connections Metro to Implement Several Service Changes Effective Sunday, Dec. 11

First Measure M Project; Metro Rail Connection to LAX Metro Board Certifies Final EIR for Airport Metro Connector 96th Street Transit Station
