Metro to Operate on Holiday Schedule on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 26

All Metro operated buses and Metro Rail trains that include the Metro Red, Purple, Blue, Green, Expo and Gold Lines trains will be operating on a Sunday schedule on Thursday, November 26, Thanksgiving Day.

UPDATE: Metro bus shuttle service between Rosa Parks and Compton stations will continue through Friday as Metro repairs damage to tracks and systems

Metro will continue providing bus shuttle service between Rosa Parks and Compton stations on the Blue Line through Friday as crews repair damage done after a car/train accident on Monday morning at Willowbrook and 119th Street in Willowbrook.

Construction work for Metro’s Regional Connector Transit Project will require closing a section of the Metro Gold Line, including the Little Tokyo/Arts District Station, from Friday, November 20, 2015 at 9 p.m. through Monday, November 23, 2015 at 5 a.m.  Commuters traveling to or from East Los Angeles and Union Station will board a free bus shuttle at Union Station and the Pico/Aliso Station to continue their trips.

BurbankBus and Metro Expand NoHo-Airport Route for Thanksgiving Holiday Weekend

To improve mobility and offer more transportation options for the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, BurbankBus and the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro) today announced expanded service on the popular NoHo-Airport Route connecting Burbank Bob Hope Airport and the Metro North Hollywood station.

New Metro Transit Milestone

New amenities, development and connecting transit services are now in the works to make Orange Line service even better for Metro customers.

Full Closure of Central Avenue between 1st Street and 2nd Street in Little Tokyo area begins Nov. 7 as part of the Regional Connector Transit Project.

Construction work for the Central/1st Street station of the Regional Connector Transit Project, will begin at 7 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 7 requiring the full street closure of Central Avenue between 1st. Street and 2nd Street. The closure will last approximately two weeks.
