Metro Blue Line Weekend Service To Be Impacted as Construction Crews Work on Expo Line Connection

Metro Blue Line passengers will experience travel delays of up to 30 minutes on three consecutive weekends beginning Friday night, Feb 5, due to construction of the Expo light rail line, which will connect with the Metro Blue Line in downtown Los Angeles.

Metro Board Approves 21 Contracts with Tow Truck Operators to Boost Metro Freeway Service Patrol Service

The Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro) Board of Directors, Jan. 28, approved 21 contracts with tow truck operators to patrol congested LA County freeways and reduce traffic by getting disabled cars to run again or remove stranded autos before traffic backs up.

I-405 Sepulveda Pass Widening Project Construction Work Resumes 5 p.m. Jan. 27, 2010

The I-405 Sepulveda Pass Widening Project will add a 10-mile northbound carpool lane on the San Diego Freeway (I-405) from the Santa Monica Freeway (I-10) to the Ventura Freeway (US 101), and will realign selected ramps, improve bridge structures, and erect sound walls. Anticipated project completion is Spring 2013.  In preparation for construction, the contractor will temporarily delineate traffic lanes.
