Track Repair Work at Metro Green Line Harbor Freeway Station to be Completed Ahead of Schedule

A planned 23-day construction project to modify the track structure for the Metro Green Line tracks at the Harbor Fwy. Station will be completed one week early, allowing MTA to return service to normal operations effective Monday, April 22.

New MTA ‘Wayfinding Kit’ Available to Help Sight-Impaired Riders of the Metro Rail System

MTA has developed and made available a new Metro Rail ‘Wayfinding Kit’ designed for sight-impaired riders to use in navigating the entire 59.4-mile Metro Rail system comprised of the Metro Red, Green and Blue lines.

Track Repair Work to Begin at Metro Green Line Harbor Fwy. Station; Project to Cause Some Passenger Delays

A construction project to modify the track structure for the Metro Green Line tracks at the Harbor Fwy. Station is due to get underway Saturday, Apr. 6, 2002. The necessary work, due to be completed Sunday, Apr. 28, will cause some inconvenience and longer commute times for some passengers during the construction, particularly during weekday peak hours.

MTA co-hosting Southern California Business Outreach Expo

“The Spirit of Optimism” is the theme of this year’s ninth annual Greater Los Angeles Vendor Fair, hosted by MTA, the County and City of Los Angeles, Los Angeles Unified School District and the Metropolitan Water District. The fair will be held Wednesday, April 24, 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel.
