MTA BOARD WILL NOT TAKE ACTION ON NOV. 30 ON PROPOSED METRO BUS SERVICE MODIFICATIONS

In order to insure that the MTA Board of Directors has enough time to consider all of the issues, the MTA will not consider any service changes or modifications at its Nov. 30 Board meeting.

MTA, SMART SHUTTLE TEAM TO SERVE SYLMAR JUVENILE HALL

Visitors to Juvenile Hall in Sylmar can make the trip via two Metro Bus lines which conveniently connect with Smart Shuttle buses serving the facility from two San Fernando Valley locations. Brochures detailing the Smart Shuttle service, which accommodates visiting hours at the facility and normal business hours at Juvenile Court, are now available in a number of locations.

MTA INAUGURATES NEW BUS LINE TO SERVE ALAMEDA STREET BETWEEN UNION STATION AND THE METRO BLUE LINE

On Sunday, November 19, 2000, the MTA will begin bus service on Alameda Street between Union Station and the Metro Blue Line’s Washington Station with the start up of Line 58.
