PLE2: Reinstatement of MOA Work Hours on Wilshire Blvd

October 16, 2021

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every day that begins at 12:00 am, repeating until December 31, 2021

On June 14th, design-build contractor restored Wilshire Blvd. by removing the k-rail, re-opening S. Reeves Dr. north of the alley, and restoring the roadway, sidewalks, and crosswalks for public access. Intermittent traffic lane closures will continue to be implemented on Wilshire Blvd. during day and night hours to facilitate material deliveries and concrete placement for ongoing construction of the underground station.

The contractor will continue to reduce Wilshire Blvd. to one lane in each direction between the hours of 12am and 10:45am until June 20th. Beginning Monday, June 21st, the work hours stated in the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) will be reinstated (see work hours listed below).

Ongoing traffic lane closures between El Camino Dr. and Crescent Dr.

Reinstatement of the MOA work hours will take effect beginning Monday, June 21st, 2021
9am to 4pm: 2 lanes open westbound and eastbound
8:15pm to 7am: 1 lane open westbound and eastbound
7am to 9am and 4pm to 8:15pm: No traffic control closures

Vehicle access will be maintained at all times on Wilshire Blvd.
Pedestrian access will be maintained.

All work will receive necessary permits and approvals from City of Beverly Hills prior to the start of work.
Access for pedestrians will be maintained outside of the construction zone.
Access for emergency responders will be maintained.
