Contacting the Office of the Inspector General

To report fraud, waste, and abuse of Metro resources to the Office of the Inspector General, you may submit your complaint in person,  in writing or telephone.  An on-line complaint form is available by selecting the On-Line Complaint Form button. To contact us by telephone call 800-221-1142 or 213-244-7300.  To report a complaint in person, come to our offices anytime during normal business hours or make an appointment for another place and time.  We are located right across from the Metro Red Line 7th Street station using the Figueroa Street exit.

When reporting information to the OIG, it is most helpful to be specific and provide as many details as possible.   The more information you provide the more thorough and speedy our investigations can be.  If you provide a telephone number, email or other address for us to contact you it will allow us to contact you to confirm receipt of your complaint and ask any questions we may have.
