Public Hearings on Proposed Changes to Metro Bus Service

The Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority will hold a public hearing on May 3, 2017 to receive community input on proposed modifications to Metro Orange Line bus service. Approved changes could become effective December 2017or later.

Details of the service proposals to be considered and Maps of Proposed Changes are available for review. These modifications are proposed to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the public transportation system through a better use of resources. The public is encouraged to attend this hearing and comment on the proposals. The public hearing on these service proposals will be held:

The Hearing location is accessible via Metro Lines 150/240, 165, 245/244, and the Orange Line Canoga Station. Free parking is also available on site.

The public hearing will begin at 6:30p.m. and will close after all testimony has been received from those members of the public present. Note: There will be no decisions made at the public hearing. The proposals may be approved in whole or in part at a date following the public hearings. Approved changes may also include other alternatives derived from public comment. All public comment received will be forwarded to the San Fernando Valley Service Council and considered prior to taking action on the service proposals.
