Notice of Public Hearings: Disparity Study Draft Report
The Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro) will hold public hearings to receive input on the 2017 Disparity Study Draft Report. The study examined Metro’s contracting practices in construction, professional services, and goods and other services as it relates to Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs). Metro is gathering comments on the Disparity Study draft report which will be considered when implementing its Federal DBE Programs on Federal Transit Administration (FTA) -funded contracts.
The hearings offer vendors, consultants, contractors, suppliers, industry representatives, and others the opportunity to provide personal comments and accounts of experiences and information related to operation of the Federal Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE Program). The public is invited and encouraged to attend and participate by providing comments regarding the 2016 Disparity Study Draft Report.
