Who can file a complaint?

Any person who believes that he/she has, individually, or as a member of any specific class of persons, been subjected to discrimination on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability may file a Civil Rights complaint with Metro. A complaint must be filed within 180 days after the date of the alleged discrimination.

In addition to the Civil Rights complaint process at Metro, a complainant may file a Title VI of the Civil Rights Act complaint for race, color or national origin with the:
