Project Description

Union Station's greenery is highlighted to create a temporarily refreshing moment and tranquil state of mind, recognizing that busy travelers may overlook the beauty of the station's outdoor spaces and natural assets.

Artist Statement

"I hope to capture the sense of wonder evoked by the station's beautiful outdoor surroundings. It's clear that much thought and effort went into the landscaping at the station and the sense of tranquility it provides."

About the Artist

Suzanne Adelman is an artist and curator. She has participated in numerous group exhibitions at venues that include West Los Angeles College, ForYourArt, and the Beacon Arts Building. Most recently, she had a solo show at WEEKEND. Adelman primarily works in photo-based media. She holds a Master of Fine Arts from the California Institute of the Arts and a Bachelor of Arts from Vassar College.
