Data Center Modernization Outage
Please ensure that all affected system users in your line of business are aware of this outage and plan their work accordingly.
To prepare for this planned outage, please see the attached files for additional timeline details. Contact the Developer Lead as needed. Representatives for each application will be contacted separately.
Impact to Staff
This email serves as a reminder that the ITS Staff will perform an urgent upgrade to Metro’s Data Center core network routers and storage system migration. The outage will begin Saturday, 5/8/2021, at 8:00pm and will continue through Sunday, 5/9/2021, until 8:00am or sooner. The Data Center will not be available during this time.
The ITS Data Center outage will affect Internet and Wi-Fi, Production Servers and Applications, Call Center Phone System and Contact Center Xpress at USG, as well as Call Recording for BOC and Bus and Rail Divisions.
