Bus to Work and Bike to Home

Although I started this quest as a pledge for Bike to Work month, it ended up taking on a life of its own. I originally intended to stick to my pledge and bike to work for a week (5/16-5/20). However, I am now taking the bus to work every Wednesday and riding my bike the entire 13 miles home in the evening! I enjoy that I am not fighting traffic to work and the bike ride home provides me with the much needed release of stress, accumulated after a ten hour day. The ease of riding the bus is enough incentive to encourage me to begin using the Metro system from Wednesday through Friday. Metro takes me to a calm and peaceful transition from home to work and back. Thanks Metro!
