How my heart pounds as I glimpse the sunny orange bus on the horizon. Is it my beloved and trusty Metro Line 550? I'm happy as it slows to scoop me up. Now I can relax and have some last few minutes with my music before I present it to class. When I decided to move out of the USC area, I was apprehensive about moving further than a bike ride to campus. But was I ever elated when I discovered a direct bus route to campus right outside my door! And how I love the 550. I love that it takes me from door to door in less time than driving and parking at school. I love seeing the same people on my route and wondering what their day will be like. Riding the 550 every day makes LA such a friendlier place to me!
