Located near Exposition Boulevard and Vermont Avenue, the museum protects over 35 million specimens, dating back 4.5 billion years. Visit and learn about the Earth's biodiversity, experience our Dinosaur Encounters, and see some of the first, best and only specimens and exhibits of their kind.

The Natural History Museum is located at 900 Exposition Boulevard in Exposition Park and is accessible via the new Metro Expo Line at the Expo/Vermont station or Expo Park/USC station. Plan your route using the Trip Planner.
Open seven days a week from 9:30 am to 5 pm. $12 for adults, $9 for students and seniors, $8 for youths ages 13-17 and $5 for children ages 5-12. Admission is free for children 4 and under and Museum members.
