Join Metro for free docent-led tours every first Thursday and Saturday of each month and learn how the Metro Art Department commissions artists to incorporate art into a wide array of transportation projects throughout LA County. From bus stops to rail stations, streetscapes to bus interiors, construction fences to poetry, Metro’s Art Department has commissioned more than 300 artists since being established in 1989. Meet your trained Metro Docent Council volunteer at the scheduled date and time and see why the program has been described as “one of the most imaginative public art programs in the country.”

Free Destination Discounts Metro Art Tours

Dates and times:

• Every first Thursday of each month at 7pm.
• Every first Saturday of each month at 10am.

Location:

Meet at street level entrance to Hollywood/Highland Station.

Metro Discount: You’ll receive a date-stamped Metro Art Tours badge that allows you to ride the entire Metro Rail system for free on the day of the tour. Also, show your pass at one of the following participating Hollywood & Highland Center restaurants and save even more!
