Mar 15-16: I-10 ExpressLanes/Busway Closure


Affected Bus Lines: 485, 487/489, Silver Line (910)
Effective Dates: Friday, March 15, 2013 — Saturday, March 16, 2013

Description

Due to Caltrans construction, the I-10 ExpressLanes/El Monte Busway will be closed between Alameda St and El Monte Station from 10pm Friday, March 15 through 7pm, Saturday, March 16.  This will affect Metro Silver Line, 485, and 487.  

  • All Express buses will use the general purpose lanes on the I-10 Fwy during this time, bypassing LAC+USC Med Ctr and Cal State LA stations.
  • Special Silver Line shuttle buses running every 60 min are available at street level locations at LAC+USC Med Ctr and Cal State LA stations, or affected customers may consider using Line 70 or 71 as alternate. 
  • Please allow extra travel time during this closure when riding on Metro Silver Line, 485 or 487.
