New Year's Eve (Sat, Dec 31): Saturday Schedule

• Metro Red, Purple, Blue, Green, Gold & Orange Lines will then operate special OVERNIGHT 24-HOUR SERVICE every 20 minutes until beginning of service on New Year's Day Jan 1st. This is in addition to bus lines which normally operate late night owl service.
• Metro is FREE to ride from 9pm Dec 31st thru 2am Jan 1st.
• Long Beach Transit Mall will be closed from 7pm Dec 31st thru 3am Jan 1st due to a special event.  As a result, Blue Line will operate modified service during this time.

New Year's Day (Sun, Jan 1): Sunday/Holiday Schedule

• Metro Red, Purple, Gold, and Orange Lines will then operate special OVERNIGHT 24-HOUR SERVICE every 20 minutes until beginning of service on Jan 2nd to provide service to the Rose Parade and Rose Bowl Game in Pasadena. ALL Rail Lines & Orange Line will be operating overnight for BOTH nights, NYE and NYD. This is in addition to bus lines which normally operate late night owl service.
• From 7pm through the end of the service day, several Metro bus lines along the Rose Parade route will be detoured as streets closures take effect.

• Extra rail capacity will be provided for travel to/from Pasadena's Rose Parade & Rose Bowl Game.
• Numerous Metro bus lines along the Rose Parade route will be detoured or split into two segments at Colorado Blvd. until streets are reopened.

Customers should consider purchasing a Metro Day Pass for $5.00 ($1.80 Seniors 62+ or Disabled), valid for unlimited travel on the day of purchase thru 3am the following morning. May be purchased aboard buses (TAP Card required) or at any Metro Rail & Orange Line station. Zone charges may apply on some Express lines.
