I-10 El Monte Busway Nightly Closure

*** PLEASE NOTE - THIS DETOUR WILL BE CANCELLED ON FRI, FEB 22.  NORMAL SERVICE WILL RESUME ON SAT, FEB 23. ***

Due to ExpressLanes work, I-10 El Monte Busway will close each night from approximately 9PM-6AM Sunday thru Thursday and 9PM-9AM Friday and Saturdays through Fri, Feb 22, 2013.  Barricades at ramps will be present.  This will impact Silver Line, Lines 485 & 487. Expect minor delays during this time.

El Monte Busway/Alameda (Union Station)

• Board eastbound Silver Line & 487 buses at N/B Alameda St./Arcadia St. (on 101 Freeway Bridge).
• For LAC+USC Medical Center or Cal State LA stations, use SILVER LINE SPECIAL at N/B Alameda St./Arcadia St. (on 101 Freeway Bridge) or Line 70 at Cesar Chavez Av/Alameda St or Metrolink to Cal State LA.
• No change in boarding location for westbound buses.
• Board Line 485 buses at normal boarding location in Patsaouras Transit Plaza.

LAC + USC Medical Center Station

• No Metro Express buses will serve this station on Busway platforms when Busway is closed.
• For service to El Monte Sta or Downtown LA, use SILVER LINE SPECIAL on Upper Street Level Entrance or Line 70 on nearby Marengo St or Foothill Transit Silver Streak on Kingston between Pomeroy and Marengo.

Cal State LA Station

• No Metro Express buses will serve this station on Busway platforms when Busway is closed.
• For service to El Monte or Downtown LA, use SILVER LINE SPECIAL or Foothill Transit Silver Streak at Upper Street Level Bus Plaza, Line 70 at Ramona Bl & Campus Rd (other side of Freeway) or Metrolink San Bernardino line at lower level of station.
