Late Night Maintenance - Every 20 Min & Boarding Change

During the effective dates above ONLY: due to track maintenance after 8:30pm, Red & Purple Line trains will operate on a modified every 20 min schedule (times are approximate and are subject to minor work related delays). 

• Purple Line will ONLY operate between Wilshire/Western & Wilshire/Vermont; Purple Line will NOT operate between Wilshire/Vermont & Union Station.
  
  • For travel to/from Downtown stations, transfer with Red Line at Wilshire/Vermont
  • When boarding Purple Line at Wilshire/Vermont: Please check train destination signs and station announcements before boarding as train may use Upper or Lower boarding platform.
  • Westbound Purple Line trains leave Wilshire/Vermont at 9:10pm, 9:30pm, 9:50pm and every 20 minutes until 2:10am.  
  • Eastbound Purple Line trains leave Wilshire/Western at 9:04pm, 9:24pm, 9:44pm and every 20 minutes until 2:14am.
  • At Wilshire/Normandie, trains will share ONE track.
• Outbound Red Line trains to North Hollywood leave Union Station at 8:37pm, 8:57pm, 9:17pm and every 20 minutes until 2:17am.  
• Inbound Red Line trains to Union Station leave North Hollywood at 8:56pm, 9:16pm, 9:36pm and every 20 minutes until 1:56am.
  
• Red Line in both directions will run every 20 minutes and share the Inbound to Union Station track at Wilshire/Vermont and Vermont/Beverly. Please check train destination signs and platform displays before boarding.
