Transportation Subsidies Available
This program offers several types of subsidy coupons and Metro tokens. The maximum subsidy per person per month is as follows:
- $5 Subsidy coupon – Riders who purchase regular monthly or weekly passes, provided their city in the county does not provide an additional Metro subsidy.
- $2 Subsidy coupon - Senior Citizen/ Disabled/Medicare riders whose city does not provide an additional Metro subsidy.
- $3 Subsidy coupon – College/vocational students whose city or school does not provide an additional Metro subsidy.
- $2 Subsidy coupon – Kindergarten through 12th grade students of cities or schools that do not provide an additional Metro subsidy.
- Metro Tokens may be offered in lieu of the subsidy coupon in each category with the total value not to exceed the value of coupons offered in each category.
