Bike to Work Day 2009 Drawing

Personal information provided on Bike to Work Day 2009 Drawing entries will not be shared with any third parties.

ELIGIBILITY

The Bike to Work Day Drawing (“Drawing”) is offered and open in the State of California, County of Los Angeles to all persons whose qualified entry (see below) is received by the deadline and commuting pledge originates and/or terminates within the geographical boundaries of the County of Los Angeles.

PROMOTIONAL PERIOD

Promotional period begins on 02/01/09 at 12:00 am Pacific time and ends on 05/15/09 at 11:59 pm Pacific time (“Promotional Period”).

ENTRY

  1. Internet Entry: Follow the directions on the pledge page to complete all pledge information fields, and then click on the “Submit” button. Internet entries must be received during the Promotional Period. Limit one entry per person. Each pledge properly completed and received will receive one entry into the Drawing.
  2. Mail Entry: To enter by mail, print and complete all pledge information fields and mail to Metro Commute Services, One Gateway Plaza, MS 99-19-5, Los Angeles, CA 90012-2952 in a first class stamped envelope and it must be postmarked before the end of the Promotional Period. Limit one pledge per person. Each pledge properly completed and received will receive one entry into the Drawing.
  3. Facsimile Entry: Complete all pledge information fields and fax to (213)922-5640 by 05/15/09. Limit one pledge per person. Each pledge properly completed and received will receive one entry into the Drawing.

Metro is not responsible for incomplete deliveries or transmissions by the US Postal Service, Internet service providers, or facsimile.

DRAWING

Winners will be selected by random drawing from all eligible entries received during the Promotional Period under the supervision of Metro on or about 05/31/09. Winners will be notified by telephone within 7 days of the drawing.

GENERAL CONDITIONS

Winner, and winner’s parent or legal guardian if winner is a minor (both on behalf of himself/herself and winner) may be required to complete, execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release, and/or a Publicity Release within 7 days of notification. Failure to execute documents, or if prize notification is returned as non-deliverable, or if winner is found not to be in compliance with these Official Rules, or otherwise ineligible, may result in disqualification with an alternate winner selected.

If for any reason this Drawing is not capable of running as planned due to infection by computer virus, mail tampering, fraud, or any other causes which, in the sole opinion of Metro affect the administration of this Drawing, Metro reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Drawing and conduct a random alternate drawing award using all eligible non-suspect eligible entries received.
