Public Hearings (June 2010)

The Draft EIR/EA for the Wilshire BRT was released on June 10, 2010. Four public hearings were held from June 21 – June 30.

Scoping Meetings (October 2009)

As a consequence of input received at community meetings held in November 2008, an Environmental Impact Report/Environmental Assessment (EIR/EA) is now being prepared. Four (4) project scoping meetings were held between October 5-13, 2009, to provide the public the opportunity to comment on the project and the potential effects of the project that should be considered in the Draft EIR/EA.

Community Meetings (November 2008)

Metro, the City of Los Angeles, and Los Angeles County, began evaluating the proposed Wilshire Boulevard BRT Project in November 2008 as part of preparing an Initial Study/Environmental Assessment (IS/EA).  Between November 12-19, 2008, four (4) community meetings were held to view a presentation regarding the Wilshire Boulevard BRT Project and submit questions and/or comments for the technical team to incorporate.  These meetings were attended by well over 300 residents and stakeholders.
