Metro has concluded the public hearings for the Draft EIS/EIR and is now accepting comments through October 18, 2010. Hearings and meetings held throughout the development of the Draft EIS/EIR include:
Five Public Hearings held September 20-29, 2010 provided an overview of the Draft EIS/EIR and took public comment.

LACMA Open House – July 14, 2010
Metro hosted a lunchtime Open House at LACMA for the business and cultural community in the Miracle Mile area adjacent to the proposed Wilshire/Fairfax station. The Open House was held from 11:30 AM – 2:00 PM and provided area businesses and museum employees with an opportunity to learn about the subway’s progress. Nearly 90 area stakeholders attended.
Community Update Meetings (June/July 2010)
Five Community Update Meetings held between June 14 and July 1, 2010 provided an update on the status of the DEIS/DEIR currently underway, an overview of the material presented at prior meetings, performance information on the 5 alternatives under review, and what to anticipate with the release of the Draft EIS/EIR.

Metro recently held a special community meeting at Roxbury Park in Beverly Hills on Monday, June 7 to provide an update on the proposed alignments linking the potential Wilshire/Rodeo and Century City stations.

Metro recently held a special community meeting at Westwood United Methodist Church on Tuesday, May 18 to provide an update on the proposed alignments linking the potential Century City and Westwood/UCLA stations.
Community Update Meetings (April 2010)
Five Community Update Meetings held April 12 and April 21, 2010 provided an update on the status of the DEIS/DEIR currently underway including a review of the input received in the fall at the station information meetings and preliminary ridership information on the 5 alternatives under review.

Century City Lunch Time “Open House” (February 2, 2010)
Meeting held during from 11:30 AM – 2:00 PM to allow people who work in Century City during the day to learn more about Draft EIS/EIR.

Five Station Information Meetings held October 22 – November 5 presented tailored content for each meeting, engaging nearly 500 community members on station locations and entrances, easy connections to and from the stations, and other issues.
