Completed Meetings

Metro held two series of community meetings for the South Bay Metro Green Line Extension in October 2010 and April 2011. The purpose of the meetings was to update the community on the status of the Draft Environmental Impact Statement/Environmental Impact Report. The community meetings were held in the following locations:

• October 20, 2010 - Nakano Theater, Torrance

• October 21, 2010 - Lawndale Christian Church, Lawndale

• October 25, 2010 - North Redondo Senior Center, Redondo Beach

• October 26, 2010 - Flight Path Learning Center, Los Angeles

• April 6, 2011 - Nakano Theater, Torrance

• April 11, 2011 - North Redondo Senior Center, Redondo Beach

• April 14, 2011 -  William Green Elementary, Lawndale

Metro held a series of public scoping meetings for the South Bay Metro Green Line Extension in the spring of 2010. The purpose of the meetings was to introduce the project and to solicit public input on the project's purpose and need, the alternatives to be studied and potential environmental issues. Scoping meetings were held in the following locations:

• April 26, 2010 - Nakano Theater, Torrance

• April 28, 2010 - North Redondo Senior Center, Redondo Beach

• May 1, 2010 - Lawndale City Hall, Lawndale

• May 5, 2010 - Automobile Driving Museum, El Segundo
