Notice of Night Work Activity - September 27


ATTENTION RESIDENTS AND BUSINESS OWNERS IN THE VICINITY OF SEPULVEDA BL BETWEEN MORAGA DR AND GETTY RAMPS

The removal and reconstruction of the wall on the west side of Sepulveda Bl between Moraga Dr and the Getty ramps is ongoing and will continue in phases, each phase lasting for approximately six months.  The contractor will excavate the retaining wall from the freeway side and from the Sepulveda Bl side for its removal.  This activity is necessary for the widening of the freeway. 

What: On going wall removal and reconstruction

When: Work is on going is anticipated to continue for the next six months. Anticipated work hours are from 9pm to 6am.  This activity is subject to change.

Where: West side of Sepulveda Bl between Moraga Dr and Getty ramps

What to expect:

  • Access to residents and businesses will be maintained.
  • Sepulveda Bl traffic will be maintained with one lane in each direction.
  • Intermittent closure of the Montana ramps will be necessary.  Closures may start as early as 7pm and will be coordinated with Caltrans.
  • Freeway lane reductions may be implemented from 10pm to 6am.
  • Pedestrians will be rerouted to a safe area outside the construction zone.
  • Emergency vehicle access will be maintained.
