Notice of Night Work Activity - July 31

ATTENTION COMMUTERS, RESIDENTS, AND BUSINESSES IN THE VICINITY OF SEPULVEDA BL BETWEEN MOUNTAINGATE DR AND SKIRBALL CENTER DR

The schedule for the work involving the relocation of existing overhead utility lines along Sepulveda Bl has been revised.  Work crews will now conduct this work seven days a week, where work will be performed every night.  Work during the weekdays will be performed during the night time hours of 9:00 pm to 6:00 am.  In addition, work will be conducted continuously throughout the weekend during the day and night time hours, as work will be performed Friday night at 9:00 pm through Monday at 6:00 am.  This work will be conducted along Sepulveda Bl between Mountaingate Dr and the area located approximately 500 feet north of Skirball Center Dr, which is necessary to support the relocated southbound Skirball ramps and the widening of Sepulveda Bl.  This activity is anticipated to last approximately eleven months and requires traffic along Sepulveda Bl to be reduced to one lane in each direction during work hours.  Sepulveda Bl will be fully open during non-work hours.

Where: Sepulveda Bl between Mountaingate Dr and the area located approximately 500 feet north of Skirball Center Dr. Sepulveda Bl will be reduced to one lane in each direction during work hours.

What to expect:

  • Sepulveda Bl will be reduced to one lane in each direction during work hours. Sepulveda Bl will be fully open during non-work hours.
  • Emergency vehicle access will be maintained.
  • This work will be performed by the utility companies themselves.
  • Please note that the work is weather permitting and subject to change.
