Los Angeles 

  • The California HSR project will infuse an additional 2%-4% into the Los Angeles region’s economic growth annually
  • Create 54,800 jobs by 2020; 96,300 jobs by 2035
  • Provide an annual increase in household incomes of more than $800 per family of four 
  • Reduce unemployment by 1%-2%
  • Add $348 million per year to Los Angeles County tax revenues by 2020

Orange County 

  • Create 54,800 jobs by 2020; 96,300 jobs by 2035
  • Provide an annual increase in household incomes of more than $800 per family of four
  • Reduce unemployment by 1%-2%

Inland Empire 

  • Increase wage and salary earnings by $711.9 million annually
  • Generate an additional $101.6 million in indirect business taxes going to local area cities annually
  • Create 19,200 jobs by 2030, mostly in the transportation, communication, utilities and manufacturing sectors
