I-405 Closure II Time-lapse

This 2:45 time-lapse depiction of the demolition of the north side of Mulholland Bridge begins Friday night, September 28, and ends with the I-405 flowing in the early hours of Monday, October 1. Notice the changing color of the canyon as the sun changes position. The vehicles on the lower edge of the frame are parked along the northbound shoulder to support media coverage of the bridge demolition. The I-405 Sepulveda Pass Improvements Project anticipates Mulholland Bridge being completed in October 2013. Thanks to KABC-TV and NBC Los Angeles for allowing Metro to use these videos.
