Service Delays

Wilshire Ramps Reconstruction: There are no route changes planned near the Wilshire ramps during construction. There may. however, be short-term changes from time to time if conditions warrant.

Santa Monica Blue Bus: Route 14 is being impacted due to utility vault work on eastbound Moraga Dr. The new location for the Big Blue Bus layover area will be on the southeast corner of the Moraga/Bellagio intersection. The bus will travel east on Moraga Dr and turn around at the end of the park. New signage has been installed to reflect this change.

Effective: Mid-March 2010

Please be aware that patrons on Lines 2-302, 4, 20, 704, 720, 761 and 920 will experience service delays and minor reroutes in service effective mid-March and lasting approximately three years due to construction on the I-405 Sepulveda Pass Improvements Project. Construction will impact bus service travelling along the freeway and through the construction zones between National Boulevard and Ventura Boulevard. The project includes the following features:

  • Add a 10-mile HOV lane on the northbound I-405 between the I-10 and US-101 Freeways
  • Remove and replace the Skirball Center Dr, Sunset Bl and Mulholland Dr bridges
  • Realign 27 on and off-ramps
  • Widen 13 existing underpasses and structures
  • Construct approximately 18 miles of retaining wall and sound wall.
