Construction will impact bus service travelling along the freeway and through the construction zones between National Boulevard and Ventura Boulevard. The project includes the following features:

  • Add a 10-mile HOV lane on the northbound I-405 between the I-10 and US-101 Freeways
  • Remove and replace the Skirball Center Dr, Sunset Bl and Mulholland Dr bridges
  • Realign 27 on and off-ramps
  • Widen 13 existing underpasses and structures
  • Construct approximately 18 miles of retaining wall and sound wall.

Please visit, metro.net/around/service-advisories/ for Bus Operations Service Updates.

Please visit these websites for information on transportation services provided in the Sepulveda Pass by agencies other than Metro:

Patrons will be impacted by freeway ramp closures, reductions in lane widths, soundwall construction and full freeway closure. Patrons should adjust their trip times along impacted corridors accordingly. For detour information, please visit www.metro.net/405.

Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience that you may experience during construction.
