MTA TO MAKE MINOR ROUTE AND SCHEDULE CHANGES EFFECTIVE 
SUNDAY, JUNE 3; INTRODUCES NEW METRO BUS LINE 340

MTA will introduce new Metro Bus Line 340 (Hawthorne Boulevard Limited) and extend Metro Bus Line 107 (54^th Street-Fairview Blvd.-Santa Ana Street) as well as make other minor route and schedule changes effective Sunday, June 3.

New Metro Bus Line 340 will provide limited stop service on Hawthorne Boulevard between the Metro Green Line and Washington Blvd. Service will be provided on weekdays during the morning and afternoon peak travel times.

In addition, MTA will extend service on Line 107 to serve the Slauson Metro Blue Line Station. Line 107 also will be extended over Clara Street replacing service formally provided by Line 114. Service will be provided on Line 107 seven days a week. Line 114 (Florence Station-Santa Ana Street-Clara St.) will be discontinued effective June 3.

Minor schedule modifications to improve efficiency in bus service will be made to the following Metro Bus lines effective June 3:

Lines 2, 3, 4, 16, 18, 20, 21, 26, 33, 37, 40, 45, 46, 51, 55, 56, 60, 66, 70, 78, 79, 92, 93, 102, 108, 110, 111, 115, 150, 152, 154, 156, 158, 161, 163, 164, 165, 166, 170, 175, 176, 183, 200, 204, 207, 209, 210, 212, 217, 233, 234, 236, 240, 243, 251, 252, 258, 259, 262, 302, 304, 310, 311, 315, 316, 333, 340, 345, 357, 362, 378, 379, 401, 410, 418, 426, 434, 442, 445, 460, 483, 484, 485, 490, 561, 576, Metro Rapid 720 & 750.

To further improve operating efficiencies and avoid duplication of services, MTA will cancel the following lines effective June 3:

• Line 402 (LA-Pasadena-Park-n-Ride Express) Alternate service for patrons traveling west of Los Robles Ave. on Colorado Blvd. are available on MTA Lines 180, 181 and 188. Service frequency on Line 401 (Pasadena-Los Angeles Express) will be improved.

• Line 436 (LA-Venice Blvd.-Ocean Park Express) Alternate service to downtown Los Angeles along Venice Blvd. is available on MTA Lines 33-333 (Venice Blvd.-Patsaouras Transit Plaza/Union Station), Metro Rapid Line 720 (Wilshire-Whittier), Santa Monica Municipal Bus Line 10 and LADOT Commuter Express Line 437.

• Line 466 (LA-Downey-La Mirada-Park-n-Ride Express) Alternate services from the La Mirada area include MTA Line 460 (LA-Norwalk-Disneyland) and Line 362 (Telegraph Road-Pioneer Blvd.-Limited). Line 362 serves the Lakewood Park-n-Ride lot. Metrolink service on the Orange County and Riverside Lines is also available from the Norwalk/Santa Fe Springs Station.
