Transcript: Innovative Digital Advertising Display Debuts in Metro Red Line Tunnel

A 15-second electronic video on the wall of the subway tunnel -- visible to passengers inside the train -- has debuted on the Metro Red Line and is the first of its kind in North America.

Passengers on northbound trains between Hollywood/Highland and Universal City stations will see ads for movies, retailers and other products.

The pilot program will guarantee Metro a minimum of $240,000 a year in revenue, at no cost to the agency. It's just one of the many ways Metro is working to help keep costs low for its customers.
