Go Metro to the third Annual Angel City Classic Football Game Saturday, September 27, at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.

The game will feature the Maroon Tigers of Morehouse College from Atlanta, Georgia, facing off against the Prairie View A&M Panthers of Prairie View, Texas in a football match up starting at 2 p.m.

In addition to the game, a half time there will be a battle of the bands.  Following the game there will be a concert tribute to the late Oscar and Grammy Award Singer Isaac Hayes.  Other activities taking place prior to the game will be a Step Show, tailgate party and vendor booths.  Festivities begin at 10 am.  Show your valid Metro Pass, Metro Rail ticket or Destination Discounts card at the box office and get $3 off the price of admission.

The classic is intended to bring awareness of the cultural and educational opportunities offered by historically black colleges and universities (HBCU’a) to young people on the West Coast.  For more information log on to www.angelcityclassic.com.
