Metro Extends Bus Bridge Assistance for Metrolink Commuters Between Moorpark and Van Nuys Metrolink Stations

Through at least Tuesday, Metro will continue offering a “bus bridge” for Metrolink riders traveling from Moorpark to Van Nuys. In the morning commuters will transfer to trains at the Van Nuys Metrolink Station for the trip to Union Station in downtown Los Angeles.

Starting this afternoon, Metrolink trains will depart normal times from Union Station but riders will transfer to buses at Van Nuys for their trips to Chatsworth, Simi Valley and Moorpark.

Metro and other transit carriers altogether are providing 26 buses for the “bus bridge” service without charge. Buses will depart Moorpark, Simi Valley and Chatsworth stations at the regular Metrolink departure times and parallel Metrolink routes.
