Metro Blue Line Train Service to be Delayed Weekends of September 7, 14, 19-21 Due to Track Maintenance

Rail service on the Metro Blue Line will be impacted due to track maintenance activity on four of the next six weekend days. Trains will operate every 20 minutes instead of the normal 15 minutes in the mornings and 12 minutes in the afternoons.

Work crews will be performing track maintenance along the Metro Blue Line tracks at 55th Street, throughout the majority of the day. Trains will run every 20 minutes on Sunday, September 7 and Sunday, September 14.

On Friday, September 19, from 9 p.m. and continuing through close of service on Sunday, September 21, work crews will be replacing the grade crossing at Vernon Avenue. Trains will run every 20 minutes.

Metro apologizes for any inconveniences Metro Blue Line customers may experience during this period of maintenance work. For more information on Metro Bus and Rail timetables, visit www.Metro.net or call 1-800-COMMUTE.
