Go Metro to Pasadena Saturday to What May Be the Largest Free Music Event in the World

Are gas prices cutting into your entertainment budget? Here’s a free and fun activity for this weekend.

Take the Metro Gold Line to Pasadena and be a part of music history at the first-ever Make Music Pasadena Fete de la Musique event on Saturday, June 21. Performances will take place from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. throughout Pasadena, including Old Pasadena, One Colorado and the Playhouse District. Fete de la Musique is held annually in more than 300 cities in more than 100 countries on the longest day of the year. It is the largest such music celebration in the world. This will be the first time that the West Coast of the United States participates in this international event.

The festival will feature world-renown musicians performing indie rock, jazz, classical, Latin, pop and much more. So Go Metro, save money on gas and parking and have a great time this Saturday. Metro fares are $1.25 for a one-way ticket and $5 for an all-day pass. Passes can be purchased on board Metro Buses or at Metro Rail station ticket vending machines.
