Sign On to Metro's Next Chat and Ask Questions About Expresslanes , Tolls and Other Congestion Reduction Strategies

Weigh in on key elements of L.A. County's upcoming ExpressLanes project at Metro's next live internet chat Tuesday, July 7, from noon to 1 p.m. Or sign on to metro.net/chat and send advance questions today.

ExpressLanes is a one-year demonstration project/test, during which high-occupancy vehicle (HOV) carpool lanes will be converted to high-occupancy toll (HOT) lanes. It will occur in two places: on the I-10 El Monte Busway, between Alameda Street and the I-605, and on the 1-110 Harbor Transitway, between Adams Boulevard and Artesia Transit Center. General purpose lanes will remain toll-free and those who currently carpool will not be charged a toll to use the HOT lanes.
Commuters are invited to share questions and opinions on such issues as variable toll rates  with Stephanie Wiggins, Metro Executive Officer for the ExpressLanes Demo Project. The chat topic is: ExpressLanes are coming soon. How do they work? How much will  they cost?

For more information on ExpressLanes, go to metro.net/expresslanes. To post live questions during the chat go to metro.net or to e-mail advance questions go to metro.net/chat.
