Created: Monday, April 26, 2010
The Gold Line train reaches the Heritage Highland Park station in about 2 minutes and crosses over ground level street to reach the platform. Gates are used on only one street in the route to this station to prevent automotive accidents while others streets implement traffic signals to alert cars as to when the train is coming. The train will stop at red lights as cars do in this particular route and drivers should be particular cautious of red lights, drifting on to the tracks, and backing up on to tracks.
